Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Toolmaker to join our team. This role requires proficiency in both manual and CNC machinery, with the responsibility of fabricating high-quality tools and parts from raw materials to form fixtures and jigs. Candidates with experience in fixture design will be preferred. Reading and interpreting technical blueprints is a vital part of this role.

Hard Skills

+ Operate manual and CNC machines

+ Read and interpret engineering drawings

+ Create parts from metals and plastics based on specifications

+ Programming using CAD

+ Design and construct fixtures and jigs

+ Maintain machinery

+ Ensure compliance with safety standards

Work Environment

Our work environment is a small organized tool shop, with a smaller team in the tool room, where you’ll be involved in building/machining a variety of fixtures. The role involves physical demands, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and twist for extended periods.
