Job Description

Join our team as a Forklift Operator and assist in the operations of our grain facility. Your duties will include operating forklifts to manage product storage and shipments, maintaining accurate inventory via technology tools like iPads, conducting physical and appearance inspections for quality assurance, and handling material up to 70 pounds. You will also assist with repackaging, order picking, and general labor tasks according to business needs. Safety is a priority, and you will be expected to perform daily, weekly, and monthly safety inspections and maintain a clean work environment.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Illiopolis, Illinois.

Work Environment

This position operates in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. You will mostly work indoors but some outdoor tasks may be assigned. Steel-toed shoes, long pants, and long-sleeve shirts are mandatory. Some PPE will be provided, however, steel-toed shoes must be purchased by the employee with a reimbursement up to $150. Expect to work shifts and overtime as needed to meet production goals.
