Job Description
Job Title: Mechanical Assembler and Control Panel Wirers
Looking for Mechanical Assemblers AND Control Panel Wirers
Increase in pay after 3 months and 6 months!
STARTING PAY: $20/hr, after 3 months you will get bumped to $21/hr and then after six months, you will get bumped to $22/hr!
Description:
- Interpret assembly and elevation drawings
- Construct electrical cabinets
- Read tape measure
- Experience using manual hand tools (wrench, screwdriver, pliers)
- Experience with power tools (drill, impact, pneumatic torque wrench)
- Follow control document procedures
-Follow wiring diagrams and schematics
-Install pre-wired panel into control box
-Terminate wiring based on schematics
-Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot
-Read, and understand blueprints, schematic drawings to determine wiring layout
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Mechanical Assembler, Machine Builder or even Automotive Mechanic working in a more job shop environment and not on an assembly line
- Must have knowledge of electrical symbols and schematics
- Perform basic computer skills
- Must be able to use shop equipment and hand tools
- Perform basic math functions including an understanding of fractions and decimals
- Must take direction, follow instruction and work with others with a positive attitude
