Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery used in construction, grading, and maintenance, including a 12K forklift and a skidsteer. The role also involves handling fragile materials such as glass solar panels with utmost care and precision. Your task will also include performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance on assigned equipment, and reporting any defects or necessary repairs to the supervisor. You will also work under the direction of the foreman and superintendent, performing tasks such as building roads, grading, installing silt fences, creating earth dikes, and constructing substation pads.

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily outdoors in a non-residential construction setting. Candidates must be comfortable working in extreme temperature conditions and on uneven grounds across large areas (1000+ acres). The role is fast-paced with daily production goals, requiring individuals who can thrive under pressure. The shift hours are from 7:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Saturday.
