Job Description

Seeking a Machinist Trainee to learn and perform the setup and operation of CNC Machines, manual mills, and manual lathes to produce precision parts efficiently. Under close supervision, you will work alongside a trainer to master the craft of machining, involving tasks from positioning workpieces to interpreting blueprints. Additional responsibilities include adhering to safety protocols and maintaining accurate notes for reference.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Springfield, Illinois.

Work Environment

Night shift and weekend shifts available, with overtime opportunities. The role is part of a large team in a multi-building machine shop environment, serving major suppliers with large equipment needs.
