Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Analyst – Pilot Workforce Planning & Analysis will support the Pilot Workforce Planning & Analysis team by capturing data and modelling analyses related to the development of the long-term Pilot Workforce plan. Has the ability and propensity to connect dots, see trends and patterns, communicate process results with a strategic lense, and grasp big picture implications of decisions and their outcomes. Collaborates with collaborators within Crew Resources, Finance, and Flight Training Center to build efficient and supportable plans and communicate the strategy optimally.

+ Maintain and own the models that resolve long-term pilot demand, the 3-month base level staffing outlook, the monthly schedule plan development, conduct variance analysis to identify deviations from plan, connect with all relevant collaborators how the plan is developing and relevant risks, identifying and developing process improvement opportunities

+ Leads monthly Finance submission process to ensure accurate forecasting of Flight Ops Crew Resources budgets and develops monthly reviews of Crew Resource supportability for leadership awareness

+ Work with peers and leadership across the Crew Planning organization from new hire and training teams, pairing construction, and PBS scheduling

+ Collaborates outside Crew Planning, such as Network Planning, Flight Training, and Finance teams

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

+ Finance, Supply Chain, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Business, Computer Sciences, Logistics/ Transportation or related field

+ 2-3 years experience in related role

+ Advanced Excel capabilities, strong data analysis, querying and modelling skills

+ Leadership, communication, presentation development skills

+ Intellectual curiosity and self-motivation to heed signals in data and want to understand root causes and glean actionable insights from that understanding

+ Demonstrated track record of using data analysis to evaluate anecdotal hypotheses or abstract concepts

+ Strong interpersonal skills both verbally and through visual mediums like dashboards and PowerPoint

+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

+ Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

+ Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position
