Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician responsible for overseeing and executing advanced maintenance tasks across various building systems, machinery, and equipment. This role requires a deep understanding of complex systems and the ability to lead and mentor junior maintenance staff. The Senior Maintenance Technician will handle high-level troubleshooting, ensure compliance with safety standards, and contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Advanced Maintenance and Repair:
2. Lead and perform complex maintenance and repair tasks on electrical and mechanical systems.
3. Diagnose intricate issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
4. Team Leadership:
5. Supervise and provide guidance to junior maintenance technicians and support staff.
6. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training and mentorship to enhance team skills and efficiency.
7. Preventive Maintenance:
8. Develop and execute advanced preventive maintenance schedules and strategies to extend the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
9. Conduct thorough inspections and address potential issues proactively.
10. Emergency Response:
11. Manage and prioritize emergency maintenance requests, ensuring swift resolution of critical issues.
12. Coordinate with external contractors or specialists for high-complexity repairs as needed.
13. Compliance and Safety:
14. Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
15. Conduct safety audits and enforce safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
16. Documentation and Reporting:
17. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
18. Prepare and present reports on maintenance performance, issues, and improvements to the Maintenance Supervisor or Facilities Manager.
19. Inventory and Resources Management:
20. Oversee the management of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
21. Monitor inventory levels, order necessary parts and materials, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
22. Continuous Improvement:
23. Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend enhancements to maintenance procedures and systems.
24. Stay current with industry trends and technologies to implement best practices.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent; advanced technical certifications or vocational training in a relevant field (e.g., electrical, mechanical) is required.
+ Extensive experience (5+ years) as a maintenance technician, including significant experience with complex systems.
+ Proven leadership abilities with experience supervising and mentoring maintenance staff.
+ Advanced knowledge of building systems, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
+ Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to address high-level maintenance issues.
+ Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and customer service.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Physical Requirements:
+ Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, bending, and working in confined spaces.

Pay Details: $34.00 to $39.00 per hour
