Located just outside of Chicago, our Melrose Park location is part of our Meat division and creates batter blends, pastry blends, and bread crumbs. What will you do?

+ Provide leadership and direction to the plant maintenance department responsible for repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment in manufacturing operations.

+ Schedules repair, maintenance, and installation to ensure continuous production operations.

+ Provide guidance and leadership in the life cycle management (ALM) of Manufacturing site.

+ Support the SQF Food Safety and Quality System by implementing and following procedures, taking part in GMP inspections, conducting and/or participating in internal audits and management reviews and participating in training.

+ Leading plant-specific vision and mission to assure continuous improvement and alignment with the corporate vision.

+ Drive employee engagement, training, and development to maximize manufacturing, quality, safety, and productivity goal attainment.

+ Manage maintenance projects including expenses and improvement modifications.

+ All other duties as assigned.

What will you need to be successful?

+ Engineering degree highly preferred.

+ Minimum 2 years in a supervisor / lead role within the maintenance department.

+ Minimum 5 years of electrical background experience (PLC’s, troubleshooting) and mechanical experience within a food / beverage manufacturing facility.

+ Microsoft Office skills and SAP (nice to have).

+ Time management and parts management (nice to have).

+ Leadership, communication and organization skills.

Compensation Data

The typical hiring range for this role is $62,906 to $92,755 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
