Globally recognized Fortune 5 eCommerce company is currently hiring for an Accommodations Consultant/Specialist that will support current internal employees who are out of leave to return back to work. This team builds a best-in-class professional services program to deliver leave of absence, disability, and accommodation services to employees. The Accommodation Consultant/Specialist will work directly with employees in providing ADA Accommodations. The consultant/specialist will be the primary contact for employees as they proceed through the accommodation process. This role expects exceptional communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, analytical and critical thinking skills, and a customer service focus that employees expect.

+ Pay: $27/hr.

+ Location: Fully Remote

+ Shift: Standard Monday – Friday Morning Shift (Supporting your local time zone from 7 AM – 9 AM start time)

+ Duration: 6-Month Contract To Start With High Possibility of Extension up to 2 Years

Job Responsibilities:

+ Serve as a subject matter expert on the accommodations process as well as state and federal disability law.

+ Each Accommodation Specialist will be assigned to one or more of the three milestones the company has the process separated into:

+ Intake

+ Document Review

+ Decision Making

+ Provide case management including engaging the employee, vendors, work location and other stakeholders.

+ Educate and train employees and HR on aspects of accommodation, return to work process and case complexities.

+ Maintain current status with case load that will fluctuate during periods of high volume such as peak, prime day, new site launches, staffing changes, etc.

+ Participate in other activities, projects and other growth initiatives within the DLS program.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

+ Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience specifically within accommodations, return to work, & ADA . This includes managing caseloads and providing support to employees on disability, leave of absences, human resources, healthcare, customer service or employee relations functions.

+ A general understanding of ADA, FMLA, statutory leaves and disability policies and laws, in addition to understanding the job accommodation processes including utilization of internal resources.

+ Proper work from home set up and environment with high speed internet.

+ Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and in writing.

+ Ability to thrive in a dynamic, growing environment with minimal direct supervision.

+ Strong time management and ownership of deliverables.

+ Ability to prioritize, manage and complete work/projects with tight deadlines.

+ Computer operating and database management skills.

+ Ability to work within all levels of the business.
