Role Summary/Purpose:

As the Client Marketing Leader for the Cobrand Travel portfolio, this role is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of marketing for Virgin, Cathay Pacific and other TBD travel card programs. This role is focused on effectively driving acquisition collectively across the cobrand travel programs to support portfolio performance growth. They will be a central member of the client team working in close collaboration with each partner to develop, execute and refine overall marketing strategies and initiatives. This person will act as a thought leader and be knowledgeable with all disciplines of acquisition and existing customer marketing. The client marketing leader will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize customer engagement and deliver a world class customer journey for the travel cobrand card programs. Added responsibility of managing a small team of client marketing managers.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Lead key strategic marketing initiatives focused primarily to drive new account and sales growth in an omni-channel environment

+ Effectively communicate growth strategies/progress to key stakeholders

+ Collaborate and translate the client’s key business objective and priorities into an annual strategic marketing plan including management of the marketing budget process and spend allocation

+ Lead quarterly forecasting growth drivers, participate in business reviews and key strategic client meetings

+ Develop acquisition offers, manage value prop, product enhancements and customer journeys

+ Utilize targeting and segmentation strategies to drive specific customer behaviors and performance outcomes

+ Partner closely with analytics, credit, customer engagement & financing teams to closely monitor portfolio performance and drive refinement and enhancements

+ Apply test & learn methodologies, monitor results and analysis of campaign performance

+ Be familiar with competitive acquisition offerings, new innovation and industry trends

+ Manage and lead a small team of client marketing managers

+ Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree or in lieu of degree, high school diploma/GED and 12+ years of marketing experience, preferably in financial services, travel industry or cobrand reward cards

+ 10+ years of omni-channel marketing experience

+ Ability to travel as needed (35%)

Grade/Level: 13

The salary range for this position is 130,000.00 – 210,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

+ You must be 18 years or older

+ You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

+ You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

+ You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

+ New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
