IT Project Coordinator – Title

Title: IT Project Coordinator
Location: Arlington Heights / Mount Prospect IL (Onsite)
Duration: 3+ months (with highly possible extension)
Pay Range: $27 – $31 /hr.
Job description
+ Assist in planning work priorities and coordinating simple tasks within the project work-stream.
+ Review the existing Project Lifecycle Management process and assist with modifications and rollout.
+ Compile project status reports, coordinate schedules, manage meetings, and resolve technical problems.
+ Assist in project communications to limited audiences and ensure effective transition into production.
+ Manage simple tasks, provide activity coordination assistance, and address issues reactively.
+ Gather and report metrics data related to project attributes and assist in risk assessment and contingency planning.
+ Document and track results of discussions, planning sessions, risk mitigation plans, and project modifications.
+ Support the Project Manager with estimations, producing communications, and improving project methodology processes.

+ Multitasking Qualifications:
+ PMI certification preferred
+ Excellent communication and analytical skills
+ Project management knowledge and practical experience with large software project
+ Very strong experience with Microsoft Project application (server version preferred) and Office Professional Suite
+ Experience with Software Development Lifecycle
+ Knowledge of MS Project and MS Visio.
+ General knowledge of IT functions and disciplines.
Education:
