Position Highlights:
*Position:Unit Secretary
*Location:Evanston Hospital - Antepartum Unit
*Full Time/Part Time: Part time 24 hours per week
*Hours:24 hours per week on the evening shift (1500-2330) and night shifts (2300-0730
Weekends: yes weekend rotation
*Travel Required : No
What you will need:
*License:N/A
*Education:High School Diploma or equivalent required
*Certification:N/A
*Experience:Minimum 2 years of work experience requiredor1 year of college and 1 year of work experience required
*Skills:Proficiency with word processing and computer skills required
What you will do:
*Coordinate non-clinical duties of the nursing unit
*Enter patient charges in computer
*Coordinate patient flow of admissions and discharges
*Order supplies
*Customer service to patients, families, nurses, physicians and other support departments
*Answer phones and relay messages as appropriate
*Proactively identifies need for service recovery and follow up of resolution
