Communications Specialist - Community CARE
Location: Swedish Hospital - Chicago, IL
Full Time, 40 hours/week
Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm
Monday - Friday
No weekends
What you will need:
Bachelor's Degree required
Proficiency in basic graphic design and presentation computer programs
Commitment to health equity
General Summary:
The Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and executing the Community CARE communications plan. Includes coordinating communications and marketing collateral and initiatives with CCARE program leaders and Endeavor Health teams.
Responsibilities and Functions
Develop and maintain communications plan for Community CARE.
Manage internal Community CARE calendar and event invitations/
Serve as a liaison between Endeavor Health marketing/communications team and Com-munity CARE.
Develop and maintain up to date marketing collateral for all CCARE programs; regularly distribute collateral to community partners and internal stakeholders. Collaborate with program leaders to ensure program-specific communications needs are met.
Perform regular edits and maintenance to program and department websites. * Maintain and share minutes from Community CARE meetings.
Manage and grow the Community Ambassador program in collaboration with Community Impact and Engagement.
Maintain testimonial and storytelling log for CCARE.
Other duties as assigned.
