Position Overview:
Reporting to the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor, this person is accountable for the safe, efficient operation of the South Bend warehouse in order to assure consistent customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:
Generally performs, with supervision, entry level production tasks which include:
Assemble shipments accurately using a pick and ship methods*
Create paperwork using company software*
Make shipments using UPS, Fed-Ex, and other carriers' software*
Move shipments using a forklift*
Prepare and ship hazardous material (will train) *
Dump bins of parts, keeping production moving*
Stage product at the correct machines*
Load and unload trucks in a timely manner*
Keep shipping area clean, take out all plant garbage*
Sweep floors daily to remove debris*
Communicate with area supervisors & leaders*
All other duties as assigned by the management*

Minimum Requirements:
* Basic educational degree or High school diploma or general education diploma
* No prior experience required
* Knowledge of common software programs (MS office)
* Ability to read and understand work orders, production process, safety regulations and quality procedures and instructions.
* Availability to work in shifts.

Preferred Requirements:
* 1 year experience in industrial environment
* Understanding of basic English

Physical Environment:
* Required to stand for long periods of time
* Walk and climb stairs
* Use hands to remove or lift boxes
* Stretch and reach with arms extended
* Stoop and bend
* Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance
* Temperature, dust, smell and noise are under normal chemical environment conditions.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
