Job Description
Press Operators are responsible for the set up and operation of a variety of hydraulic and mechanical presses to fabricate aerospace engine parts.
Essential functions of the position include:
- Operation of hydraulic and mechanical presses
- Set up presses by changing out tooling and dies
- Visually inspecting parts and materials during the production process
- Basic computer skills
- Read and interpret blue prints and customer specifications
- Use of calipers, micrometers, height stands, and indicators
- Daily housekeeping/6S duties
- All other duties as assigned
