Job Description
Tool & Die Makers are responsible for the set up and operation of manual and CNC Machine Tools to produce complex 3-dimension contoured tools that will be used to fabricate aerospace engine parts.
Essential functions of the position include:
- Operation of manual and CNC Machine tools to develop complex 3-dimensional contoured tools to meet customer requirements
- Complete routine maintenance on production tooling to support shop floor
- Read and interpret blue prints and customer specifications
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Use calipers, micrometers, height stands, and indicators
- Daily housekeeping/6S duties
- All other duties as assigned
