Job Description:

Crowe's Microsoft Dynamics 365 Public Sector ERP practice helps transportation authorities, cities, counties, utilities, and more improve performance and efficiency across a broad array of their operational needs. By implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, our public sector team members bring a solution that helps public sector entities with issues across financial management, operational efficiency and information technology.

Crowe is currently seeking a strong Public Sector ERP Project Manager to help lead and manage the delivery of public sector ERP implementations, as well as lead and manage the scoping and creation of fixed fee proposals for ERP public sector implementations.

Responsibilities:
Plan and manage client projects (multi-year, fixed fee projects).
It is assumed this role will be responsible for managing 2 projects at a time.
Set and manage detailed expectations, both internally with Crowe staff and with the client.
Manage detailed activities required to deliver the project on time and on budget, within our ERP implementation methodology.
Manage and track the budget to actuals and client billings for the project.
Develop strong relationships with clients and manage client communication and expectations throughout the implementation.
Coordinate and oversee the definition of client business requirements and the configuration of the Dynamics ERP solution (and any related customizations) to meet the defined business requirements
Coordinate and oversee the technical team for any technical architecture and development-related activities
Coordinate and oversee the validation of the new solution
Coordinate and oversee the end user training activities
Drive and manage cutover planning and preparation
Manage support activities post implementation
Lead, mentor and help grow functional and technical resources throughout the ERP implementation
Coordinate and schedule project resources
Expected travel is on average 50%

Responsibilities (ERP Proposal Creation)
Proactively manage and coordinate multiple resources (functional and technical) to develop scope, plan/estimate, technical architecture and responses to RFP on a defined timeline.
Assist in the development of scope for the fixed fee implementation.
Develop the project plan, estimated cost, timeline and milestone payment schedule for a fixed fee, fixed scope implementation.
Develop key sections of the proposal (e.g. implementation approach, project management approach, training, assumptions, support, project team, etc.)

Qualifications:
Proven experience with project management (managing scope, quality, costs, staffing, risk, etc.)
3+ years of experience managing ERP implementations (at least $1M - $2M in size)
2+ years of experience managing the delivery of public sector ERP projects (state and local level)
Previous consulting experience
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Proactive, effective communication skills (both oral and written)
Solid experience managing fixed fee projects
Experience working with technical resources regarding installation, custom development and other technical activities required to successfully deliver a large scale ERP project.
Experience building teams and developing staff
Proficient with Microsoft Office including Work, Excel, Project, Visio
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification - nice to have

Some familiarity with financial, operational and HR processes would be nice to have, including:
General Ledger, Financial Reporting
Budgeting
Procurement
Accounts Payable, Cash Management
Projects and Grants
Accounts Receivable
Fixed Assets
Inventory, Work Orders
Human Resources

BS Degree is preferred
