Your responsibilities
Summary:
As a Program Engineer at thyssenkrupp Dynamic Components, you will take on a pivotal role in leading, planning, coordinating, and overseeing all efforts related to assigned projects. Your responsibilities will begin at the point of project handover and extend through to the End of Production (EOP). This position is integral to the successful execution of projects, requiring the utilization of the latest technologies to ensure efficiency and innovation in all processes. You will be expected to manage timelines, allocate resources, and ensure that all project goals are met within the specified parameters.
Key Deliverables:
The Program Engineer serves as an engaged and trusted source in the organization. Success in this role is measured by quantity of finished Change Requests, implemented cost savings by project, quantity of audit findings, excess inventory of parts after EOP and blocked project inventory. Key deliverables to ensure success are listed below:
Safety Standards: Ensure a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies. Report hazards and wear required PPE.
Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned, supporting project and organizational goals.
Process Authority: Stop processes to correct quality, safety, or environmental issues. Notify supervisors when processes are non-compliant.
Project Handover: Assume responsibility for project handover from Program Management and ensure all milestones are met.
Lead Project Teams: Lead cross-functional project teams, including department managers, engineers, and OEM representatives.
APQP Champion: Champion the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process and maintain records.
Implement Requirements: Implement all customer and specific program requirements.
Customer Representative: Act as the primary contact from project handover through End of Production (EOP).
Budget and Cost Monitoring: Monitor program budget and product costs. Lead cost optimization projects.
Status Reporting: Report program status to management, providing updates on progress and issues.
Supplier Development: Support supplier development, conduct evaluations, and perform cost calculations.
Coordinate Changes: Manage design, process, and cost reduction changes to ensure smooth implementation.
Risk Management: Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project scope. Changes, including design, process, cost reductions.
End of Production (EOP) projects: Manage the feasibility of building products, oversee material stock and supply base, communicate customer demands and manage the complete processing of products. 
Your profile
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, a successful candidate will be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education: Bachelor's Degree required and experience using AIAG automotive standards and APQP processes. 2 years of experience in Project Management, experience in automotive industry is preferred.
Language: Strong oral and written communication skills.
Technology: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge and experience with ERP/MRP software, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software and Microsoft Office. Microsoft Project experience is preferred.
Travel: Occasional travel, up to 10% including international.
Other: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical... For full info follow application link.
