Position: Research Assistant
Location: Evanston Hospital & Swedish Hospital
Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time
Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week

Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Research Assistant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology located at Endeavor Health's Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL. This position will require weekly travel to Endeavor Health's Swedish Hospital in Chicago, IL as well as to other Endeavor Health and affiliated sites. This is a full-time position and is benefits eligible. Hours will be scheduled 8a to 4:30p Monday through Friday.

What you will do
Assist with a randomized control trial of breastfeeding peer counseling (BPC) taking place at NorthShore Swedish Hospital
Recruit patients from clinical sites during pregnancy
Maintain communication with patients and research team members across multiple sites
Conduct study assessments with research participants
Manage patient tracking and study activities in a study database
Enter data into electronic databases; manipulate resulting data and present it in a variety of ways
Maintain organized and detailed records of all study activities
Maintain study supplies

What you will need
Bachelor's degree required
Strong people skills required
Experience in a research environment preferred
Some data management experience preferred
Bilingual Spanish-English speaking strongly preferred
