Position Title: Sr. Pricing Analyst II
Job Description:
Lead the development and implementation of pricing strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives, market dynamics, and competitive landscape. Conduct comprehensive market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify pricing opportunities and drive pricing decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and product management, to ensure pricing strategies are effectively executed. Conduct advanced pricing analysis, utilizing advanced statistical and analytical techniques, to evaluate the effectiveness of current pricing strategies and identify areas for improvement. Develop pricing models, simulations, and scenario analyses to assess the impact of pricing changes on revenue, profitability, and customer behavior. Utilize pricing analytics to optimize pricing structures, discounting strategies, and promotional pricing to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, insights, and feedback to inform pricing strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives. Conduct training sessions and knowledge sharing activities to enhance the pricing expertise and capabilities of the team. Present pricing analysis findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations. Communicate pricing strategies, updates, and performance metrics to internal teams and external partners, ensuring alignment and understanding. Help manage relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including senior management, business unit leaders, and other functional teams. Present insights and recommendations, providing regular updates on analytical projects, and responding to ad-hoc requests for data and analysis. Position is fixed location based in Lincolnshire office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed.
Job Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance or a directly related field plus four (4) years of experience working in data analysis.
Must have four (4) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
- Snowflake and data visualization
- SQL and BI tools utilizing customer data
Must have three (3) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
- Price optimization
- Price elasticity
- Price sensitivity analysis
- Demand estimation modeling
- Statistical modeling and machine learning
- Customer analytics
- Python and R
40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm.
