Position Summary
The Physical Therapy Department in the College of Health Professions welcome applications for a part-time adjunct lecturer in neurologic physical therapy.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Promote the mission and goals of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, the College of Health Professions, and the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program
Teaching in areas associated with neurologic physical therapy
Participate in a team teaching environment, collaborating with other faculty members to develop and deliver course instruction and student assessment activities.
Contribute to a welcoming and inclusive learning environment that respects and values the diversity of students.
Participate in creation, implementation, and evaluation of DPT program curriculum
Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff, and students
Conditions of Employment

Required Education & Experience
Doctor of Physical Therapy degree
License eligible in Illinois
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Demonstrate of excellence in communication, teamwork, organization and critical thinking are essential components for success in this position
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent time management skills, strong work ethic and high level of integrity
Ability to work in an interprofessional, collaborative setting
Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion concepts and their application in the classroom and clinical settings.
Up-to-date knowledge of current trends and advancements in the field of physical therapy relative to area of expertise.
Experience adapting instructional materials and teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, abilities, and backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in physical therapist education or other higher education with knowledge of effective classroom teaching strategies
American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties board certification in neurologic physical therapy or other advanced certifications in areas associated with neurologic physical therapy practice.
