Job Description

Senior IT Business Analyst (Multiple Positions), Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc., Chicago, IL. Provide integrated solutions across domains in collaboration with development teams. Work with the business on Futures and Options Margin related capabilities. Create user stories and acceptance criteria for the user stories. Monitor all customer facing environment and review and troubleshoot incidents. Provide a sounding board if the incidents require business input/clarification for resolution. Run scrum ceremonies including daily standup, feature grooming session, story pointing, and progress monitoring. Drive the analysis planning, design and solutions validation for mid to large projects. Review QA testing strategy and test plans. Produce financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. Contribute and manage the knowledge base for a domain, including both project artifacts and living artifacts.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, and five (5) years of post-bachelor, progressive, related work experience.

Must have five (5) years of experience with/in:

• Writing complex SQL queries in Oracle or PostGres;
• Performing detailed analysis activities such as detailed requirements, user stories, interface specs, UI specs, and report specs for a primary system;
• Contributing to elicitation sessions, storyboarding, prototyping, and analysis; and
• Utilizing JIRA or similar productivity tools.

Telecommuting permitted up to three (3) days/ week.
