Job Summary:
The Associate Director assists the Director of Student Life in managing all aspects of the program designed to enhance the quality of life of the 1,300 students enrolled in the full-time Master of Business Administration program. This work includes counseling, directing and managing individuals and small and large student-affiliated groups related to student activities. Additionally, this position oversees strategizing, planning and executing several large student and Kellogg community events.
Specific Responsibilities:
Project Management/Administration
- Partners with Director and Assistant Director of FT Student Life to achieve key strategic priorities and program goals that improve the full-time student experience.
- Serves as a thought leader to help design, plan, execute and launch continuous efforts to improve Kellogg’s Student Life program.
- Reviews & analyzes outcome measurements and recommends changes & enhancements to improve program/project.
- Collaborates with internal/external partners to implement changes designed to improve/increase program/project goals/objectives.
- Assists in identifying and implementing process and technology improvements.
- Oversees & ensures that day-to-day operations within the Office of Student Life are appropriately managed, efficient and effective.
Student Onboarding
- Manages and directs student executive committee for student orientations (2Y CIM, 1Y CIM and Internal Transfer Orientation). This includes recruitment of student leadership teams and volunteers, planning of events, management of over-all schedule, oversight of logistics, marketing and execution of programming in conjunction with student leadership team.
