Overview
Pay range for this position is $30.36 - $45.38/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Palliative Nurse assists the Palliative Physicians in responding to referrals, educating/mentoring nurses and other clinicians in evidence-based palliative care, assisting patients with post hospital discharge care for patients of Medical Center Palliative Care Program. Provides care for patients and family/ significant others across the life span based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and related criteria appropriate to the age of patients served in assigned service area.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) License/Certifications: Current State License as a Registered Nurse required BLS certification through the American Heart Association Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: OSF Care Decisions Instructor within 1 year Hospice/Palliative Care Nursing Certification or to pursue certification within two years
