Position Summary:
This is a full-time remote role for a Regional Sales Manager at Carl Buddig and Company. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales activities in a designated region, building, and maintaining customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and developing sales strategies to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain relationships with clients.
Manage perishable food broker network within the region.
Educate clients and attend trade/food shows to conduct product demonstrations.
Generate potential leads for future sales.
Set and exceed quotas.
Track and report sales.
Demand planning.
Work with customer service team overseeing orders and being a liaison for communicating issues with accounts.
Approving promotional activities and handling account deductions.
Communicate effectively with other members of the team.
Qualifications:
Sales Management, Business Development, and Customer Relationship Management skills
Experience in setting and achieving sales targets
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to analyze sales data and market trends
Proven track record of successful sales performance
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Experience in the food industry or consumer perishable goods sector is a plus
Bachelor's degree
7 to 10 years of sales experience
CPG broker management background
Experience calling on independent grocery accounts and regional grocery accounts in and around Texas, Lousianna, Oklahoma and Tennessee
Skilled in all Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Experience with IRI and Nielson Data analysis.
Generate presentations and present data to clients.
Travel required- up to 50% per week
