Job Title: Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant
Location: Chicago, IL 60602
Duration: 12 months with possible extension
Shift: 1st shift 8hrs
Note: Any UAP practicing outside of these expectations will be immediately released and marked
as a DNU***

Job Description:
Assist nurses with first aid and notes care provided on applicable form.
Serves as a Seizure and Diabetic Designated Care Aide (DCA) after completing DCA training.
Assist nurses with medical compliance by entering physical and immunization information.
Assigned to Bus Routes for seizure and diabetic students as applicable.
Works cooperatively with all parents, students, nursing staff and school personnel.
Maintains a safe and healthy environments for all students.
Maintains confidentiality.

Education:
Minimum a high school diploma.
Additional certification based on the role, as determined by the Board of Education.

Documents Required:
AED Certification.
BLS/CPR Certification.
Covid-19 Vaccination Card.
