Job Description
PASSENGER RAILCAR ELECTRICIAN
- Must know 480V, 3 phase, 240V, 3phase, Delta or Wye, power distribution systems, controls, contactors, transformers, 110V & DC System.
- Ability to read schematics, blue prints and other technical documents.
- Ability to layout, bend, install up to 4” conduit and up to 4-0 electrical wire.
- Ability to layout and install panel boxes, breakers, lighting, switches, receptacles.
- Diagnose/troubleshoot electrical problems on passenger railcars, including motors, air compressors, contactors and phase detectors.
- Maintain and order electrical supplies as needed.
- Self-motivated with knowledge of electrical systems, industrial equipment and hand tools necessary to perform task.
- Must have driver’s license.
- Minimum 1 year industrial electrician experience.
