Job Summary:
CDW provides top-tier education and training in the field of cybersecurity. We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Cybersecurity Instructor to join our team and help shape the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
As a Cybersecurity Instructor specializing in Network Analysis, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction on various aspects of network security. You will guide students through complex concepts and practical applications, ensuring they gain a strong foundation in computer networking principles and protocols.
What you will do:
Develop and deliver engaging course content on network analysis and cybersecurity.
Teach and explain concepts such as Boolean logic, number base conversion, packet analysis, protocol header analysis, data encoding, and encryption.
Utilize Wireshark to demonstrate real-world applications of network analysis.
Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cybersecurity.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
What we expect of you:
Strong foundation in computer networking principles and protocols.
Expertise in Boolean logic and number base conversion.
Proficiency in packet analysis and protocol header analysis.
Knowledge of data encoding and encryption techniques.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Wireshark and other network analysis tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Prior teaching experience required.
Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
