Job Description

Due to internal growth at HARIBO of America, we are hiring a Sr. Demand Planner to join our Demand Planning team. Report to the Demand Planning Manager, the Sr. Demand Planner will provide sales trend analysis, support and inputs to our demand plans in support of the Sales & Operations Process ( S & OP process). Responsibilities including demand forecasting, analyzing data, and partnering with sales leadership to help close any gaps in forecast vs. actual numbers.

The ideal Sr. Demand Planner will at least five (5) or more years of demand planning and demand forecasting within the consumer goods industry, a Bachelor's Degree, experience with demand planning tools, advanced Exel skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Sr. Demand Planner -- Responsibilities:
Develop demand forecasts for HARIBO of America
Coordinator monthly key account forecast review meetings with Sales & Marketing teams
Facilitate and/or lead the monthly business Demand Review meetings, understand drivers, challenge assumptions, and facilitate agreement on the total demand plan
Adjust forecasts as needed
Coordinator
Partner with Supply Chain team and Supply Planning team
Coordinate all aspects of Demand Planning related to the delivery of projects that support growth objectives, new product development, cost reductions, and operational efficiency improvements
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Demand Planning and forecasting within the consumer goods industry
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or related field
Advanced Excel skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with SAP or other ERP systems and demand plannings tools
Prior experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
