This Brand Manager role will have direct ownership of PHILADELPHIA and our desserts platform in our foodservice unit. You will function as a go-to mentor and partner for more junior talent. The role provides opportunity for near-term career growth.
You will be responsible for ensuring that consumers engage with our brands consistently across channels. You will also own the five-year growth plan for your portfolio. Collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agencies is critical.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Business and Brand Strategy
Apply business analytics (equity, share, volume and revenue drivers, competition) to tell stories and drive business objectives
Delivery monthly Consumption/Share Analysis with outlined action items to deliver brand share growth
Ongoing Portfolio Management including but not limited to: SKU rationalization, strategic prioritization, pack/price architecture, product catalogs
Innovation & Renovation
Develop and implement a five-year growth plan that provides strategic innovation direction
Closely partner and consult with innovation team to ensure alignment with outlined growth strategy
Foster relationships with Marketing, Consumer Insights, R&D, Finance, and Project Management to lead commercialization of renovation and maintenance projects
Brand Communications
Lead B2B media strategy and execution for the PHILADELPHIA brand
Integrate Away From Home into PHILADELPHIA Masterbrand B2C comms plan
Deliver comms-driven partnership ideas that help win new business
Collaborate extensively with brand platform teams and away-from-home customer marketing, taking on the role of leader in both directions
Drive discussions during management presentations with platform GM, and business unit President
Expected Experience & Required Skills
Seasoned experience in marketing for an established or startup CPG company or experience supporting on the agency side (advertising, consulting, media)
Bachelor's degree preferred
Strategic capability and experience in marketing plan development; situation assessment, strategy and tactical plan development
Experience in cross-functional team management
Ability to handle simultaneous projects and deliver in agreed upon timelines
Experience with marketing campaign development
Work Environment & Schedule
This is a Hybrid role with 3 days a week in the local office, with limited travel or visits to external locations; offices are open workspaces. Additionally, this role requires working a salaried, exempt schedule to best execute against customer and internal expectations

Willingness to drive and/or travel as needed
Operate a computer and view screens for ~100% of work schedule
