RRD has an opportunity available for a Quadient Inspire Developer to join our Team!
We are looking for a motivated and savvy technology professional to join our energetic and passionate team in a lively work environment filled with diverse and amazing people. The primary responsibility of this position is to perform analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation for Quadient Inspire composition software.
Responsibilities
Independently, develop code, test, debug, maintain, modify, and install moderately complex Quadient Inspire software programs.
Develops unit test and performs unit, regression, conversion and parallel tests
Independently analyze and document test results to ensure that programs are meeting the technical requirements.
Researches and resolves moderately complex programming issues with immediate short-term solutions.
Develop program specifications and flowcharts, (dataflows, jobflows, etc.), for stand-alone programs or systems.
Conveys problems, solutions, updates and project status to peers, customers and management.
Prepares sound time estimates for all phases of technical design projects.
Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
Mentoring: Takes responsibility for personal technical and professional growth. Assists junior level developers with department procedures, environment, and tools, utilities and development standards and protocols.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering, with 5 or more years relevant work experience
At least 3+ years experience using Quadient Inspire
Experience in working with various data formats (raw data, AFP, Postscript, PDF) is a plus.
Experience in working with Quadient Interactive is a plus
Experience in analyzing data and developing applications that improves efficiency of business operations.
Participate in documentation, coding, testing and debugging of applications.
Must have strongunderstanding of Quadient Inspire software and make recommendations for improvements to the technology.
Have very good understanding of information/data management concepts. Must be able to effectively analyze and solve non-routine work related problems.
Requires excellent communication skills with ability to state messages in a clear manner by using language that is easy for others to understand.
Must be able to proactively listen to others to understand issues and situations.Must be able to clearly articulate business needs to both internal and external customers.
Additional Information
Thenational pay range for this role is $74,600 to $132,500 / year. The payrange may beslightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
