Job Title: Quality Receiving Inspector 1
Department/Group: QC Receiving
Location: Assembly Dr.
Shift: 1st Shift

Summary of Objective:
Performs and documents quality inspection activities of components and products through various processes at incoming receiving.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.

Utilizes and interprets ANSI/AQL sampling plans to determine appropriate level of sampling. Utilizes multiple types of testing instruments, laboratory equipment such as FT-IR and specialized software. May execute shipping protocols, special sampling protocols or shipping/receiving validations. Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests. Also responsible for rejecting unacceptable materials by placing non-conforming materials on hold. May perform additional inspections and sampling on released material(s). Interprets specifications, drawings and formulas to arrive at required quality and reliability standards. Document inspection outcomes/results by completing detailed specifications Enters inventory transactions in ERP system. May perform destruction activities related to incoming samples/retains. Partners and communicates with other departments including Operations, Business Unit, Procurement, and Warehouse to ensure quality standards are met. This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules. Attendance to work is an essential function of this position Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

On an average day, the individual can expect to move and/or transport up to 25 pounds
between 1/2 and 3/4 of the day.
