Job Description
Our large retail client is looking for a Senior Motion Designer + Video Editor to join their team fulltime. This role will require 3 days a week on site in Chicago.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for motion and video to bring their previous experience from working on major projects and have their own toolkit and recommendations!
Senior Motion Designer + Video Editor Responsibilities:
- Video Editing, ensuring a polished final product that meets brand standard and project requirements
-Motion Graphics, create sophisticated motion graphics to enhance video content including lower thirds, full screen graphics, branded transitions, countdown timers, captions and use of stylized stock footage
- Multi camera editing, ensuring seamless integration of footage from various angles and sources
- Color correction, SLog, Clog, Dlog, ARRI, HLS to Rec709 to enhance visual quallity and maintain consistency whether through Lumetri Color, Cinematch or Davinci Resolve
- Audio mastering, ensure clarity, balance, and overall quality in the final video production. Using nascent machine learning tools to clean up audio
Senior Motion Designer + Video Editor Requirements:
- Proven experience working with major broadcast outlets or agencies for brands with a strong portfolio showcasing sophisticated motion graphics and video editing work
- Strong editing experience including, color correction, audio mastering and graphic design
- Proficient in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve
- 5+ years experience in video editing and motion graphics
