We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Support Specialist to join our Division in Fort Myers, FL. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to transition from an HVAC service technician to remote customer support.

Location Requirement: Although this is a REMOTE position, candidates MUST reside in or near Fort Myers, Florida for occasional client visits when needed, in-person meetings, equipment handling, and training sessions.

Compensation: $53,000 - 57,000/ Year + Benefits and annual performance increase

This is a Full-Time/ Direct Hire Opportunity!

Schedule: M-F (8am-5PM)
What We're Looking For:
  • EPA Certification: Must have an EPA license to handle refrigerants.
  • HVAC Certification: Required technical experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Field Service Experience: Experience relating to HVAC equipment and heat pumps.
  • Customer Service Experience: 2-4 years in a customer service-related role, preferably in insurance/manufacturing.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Computer Proficiency: Strong skills in MS Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends, staggered shifts, and holidays.
What You'll Do In This Role:
  • Customer Assistance: Provide verbal and written technical support for product service, installation, repair, and general inquiries for complex multi-family and large-scale commercial projects.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose errors and problems, explain the repair process, and initiate repairs for heat pumps.
  • Warranty Support: Interpret and explain warranty information to customers and arrange for the return of malfunctioning items for repair or replacement.
  • Technical Documentation: Use computerized systems to track requests, troubleshoot problems, assess inventory, document resolutions, and determine warranty eligibility.
  • Follow-Up: Ensure customer satisfaction by following up on calls and maintaining detailed service and maintenance records.
  • Field Work: Travel to customer locations to test and repair company products, ensuring proper working condition.
  • Installation & Maintenance: Provide troubleshooting and perform installation of equipment, connecting products to power sources and test meters.
  • Inventory Management: Use a variety of small tools and maintain parts inventory.
  • Record Keeping: Keep accurate service and maintenance records.
