This role involves the review of a Lender’s remediation following a review of origination processes on Conventional (FNMA) loans on behalf of our client. The reviewer will assess remediation related to findings cited by our client during the assessment of the Lender’s origination channels, underwriting and appraisal processes, quality control programs, secondary marketing, and loan closing (post-close and pre-funding). A review of the Lender’s remediation of issues uncovered during the assessment will be completed using materials and responses provided by Lenders, including written remediation explanations and plans. Oversee small team of auditors performing this function to provide quality control, assist in key audit functions, provide support to the leadership team in the overall management of the resources and correspond with the client to discuss performance, production, and quality.

Essential Job Functions:

+ Review findings and remediations with Lenders on behalf of our client via phone calls and email correspondence.

+ Manage timelines for completion of the remediation by the Lender.

+ In conjunction with the Client, assess the completeness of remediation plans to ensure they are satisfactory and resolve open issues in alignment with Client’s protocols.

+ Elevate questions to management when such items arise.

+ Accurate tracking of the time spent on reviews.

+ At least five years of related mortgage origination experience preferred.

+ Ability to meet production quality and service standards.

+ Adherence to all company policies and procedures.

+ Perform team-lead/QC duties with the client around performance, production, and quality goals and metrics

Qualifications/ Requirements:

+ College degree / training in Finance / mortgage banking desired, or equivalent combination of education and experience

+ Minimum of 6+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 1+ years in a Senior Associate level role or external equivalent.

+ Self-motivation and reliability.

+ Excellent PC skills and possess high level of proficiency in Microsoft products.

+ Strong communication (written and oral) skills.

+ Analytical ability and good judgment.

+ Detail oriented and organized.

+ Demonstrate professional behavior and teamwork, punctual and dependable.

+ Communicate directly with Lenders and Client for the review.

The annual full time base salary range for this role is

$58,000.00 – $120,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
