Compensation: $45,000

$300 Sign-on Bonus After Completion of the 90-day Probationary Period Summary/Objective The Down Stocking Lead assists the Down Stocking Team in handling daily operations of the Down Stocking department. This individual will ensure that all Down Stocking team members maintain their respective Aisles according to Company guidelines. Ensures that all team members conduct themselves and complete tasks according to the provided Company’s Standard Operating Procedures. + Assists the Down Stocking Supervisor in providing guidance, training, and leadership to all Down Stocking Associates.

+ Leads all Down Stocking associates and closely monitors their work to ensure aisle/shelves/bins are filled or refilled in a timely manner.

+ Assesses, corrects and provides feedback to team members regarding mislabeled pick locations or overstock cartons, out of stock inventory, proper stocking of pick locations and locating current inventory used for stocking.

+ Tracks and reports on daily activities and associates’ production metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis by utilizing provided tools, systems and reports.

+ Assemble and analyze data for department reports and submit KPI monthly.

+ Prepares daily workloads, generates key points for daily department meetings and assigns daily tasks to all team members.

+ Assists Down Stocking associates in resolving issues related to inventory discrepancies, location errors, etc.

+ Verifies that all products in all pick locations are properly labeled and stocked. Conducts regular audits of team members completed work to ensure proper execution and provides feedback.

+ Conducts regular walks and reviews of all warehouse aisles, zones and pallet locations and ensures each are organized, clean and maintained to safety standards.

+ Regularly observes and ensures associates consistently follow all established rules, policies, and procedures.

+ Responsible for execution of full warehouse overstock scans and audits to maintain accurate and live overstock data on a weekly basis.

+ Responsible for ensuring that overstock cartons and pallets are placed and maintained in the proper locations in a timely and accurate manner.

+ Responsible for consistent review and maintenance of all department assigned assets.

+ Responsible for assisting the inventory personnel with return to vendor and/or expired or out of code product.

+ Responsible for generating, assigning and reviewing Bin Rotations on a weekly basis from each zone based on sales trends.

+ Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager/Warehouse Manager.

Supervisory Responsibility This person will lead a team of Down Stocking Associates. Work Environment This job operates in a warehouse environment where the noise level can be loud. The employee is frequently exposed to fast-moving carts and bins throughout the warehouse. Frequent use of computers, handheld scanning devices, ladders and other stocking equipment. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, reaching up and lifting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to lift and move items up to 60 pounds. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. Days and hours to be specified. Travel No travel is expected for this position. Required Education and Experience A minimum of HS Diploma or GED and one year of factory or warehouse-related experience in receiving and stocking. Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math. Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office experience are required. Must be able to use warehouse equipment such as ladders, cutting tools, etc. Preferred Education and Experience Associate degree. Experience with inventory management systems and e-commerce platforms. Additional Eligibility Qualifications None Work Authorization Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
