We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a PART TIME Administrative Assistant in Oak Brook, Illinois. As an integral part of our team, you will be the primary point of communication between our administrative team and other departments, facilitating smooth operations and efficient communication. This role is suited to those with a keen eye for detail and strong multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain schedules, appointments, and calendars for various departments.

- Coordinate activities between departments and assist in resolving any issues or misunderstandings.

- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.

- Facilitate communication between the administrative team and other departments.

- Assist in tracking and managing inventory, coordinating with the inventory team to ensure accurate record-keeping and stock levels.

- Prepare and organize documents, reports, and presentations related to operations.

- Assist in planning and organizing events, coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and other external partners for event logistics.

- Enter and update data related to products, sales, and customer information, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the company’s database.

- Answer inbound calls and provide excellent customer service.

- Utilize Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) to manage data and schedule appointments.

Requirements – Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

- Experience in handling inbound and outbound calls

- Strong customer service skills

- Ability to manage data entry tasks efficiently

- Experience in email correspondence and managing professional communication

- Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively

- Experience in working in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- High level of organization and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Initiative and self-motivation to complete tasks without constant supervision.
