Description

Excellent role with a company in growth mode for a Senior Manager Accounting position with opportunities for advancement. Responsibilities include team, manage complex business activities, and provide strategic thinking to formulate solutions. This role also includes managing staff training, development, and performance, and leading discussions with senior management.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee a team responsible for account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting duties.

- Serve as a subject matter expert in multiple and complex business activities, providing strategic insights and recommendations.

- Develop and maintain relationships, expanding leadership influence to accomplish results through others.

- Apply judgment for the appropriate application of Corporate Policy, GAAP, Regulation, or established framework.

- Manage staff training, development, and performance in the area of responsibility.

- Lead cross-functional teams to support new business initiatives and resolve production events impacting the business.

- Oversee efforts related to financial reporting, internal and external audits, and compliance.

- Continuously seek efficiency and control improvements to further capabilities of the team.

- Provide ongoing accounting leadership to support business partners throughout the company.

- Represent team responsibilities during month-end and quarter-end financial close, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

- Develop and coach teams to identify, manage, and escalate risk, effectively managing risk within the teams you oversee.

Requirements

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role

- Knowledge of ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning

- Ability to handle all Accounting Functions

- Skills in Month End Close and US GAAP

- Ability to prepare Financial Statements

- Knowledge of Internal Control processes

- A degree in accounting or related field plus a CPA certification
