We are seeking an Assistant Controller for handling a variety of accounting and finance tasks, including managing daily accounting functions, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This opportunity will provide a pathway for professional growth and advancement within our organization.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily accounting functions to maintain the financial operations of the organization

- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

- Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for complete and accurate reporting

- Drive continuous improvement opportunities in processes, policies, and standards within the finance department

- Support forecasting and budgeting activities to aid in decision-making processes

- Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial data

- Design, implement, and maintain internal controls relevant to the preparation and fair presentation of financial statements

- Participate in the preparation for the annual audit to ensure the organization’s financial health

- Communicate financial data to internal and external contacts and agencies as required

- Leverage your skills in Accounting Software Systems, ADP – Financial Services, Concur, Crystal Reports, DCAA, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, Billing Functions, Month End Close, General Ledger, and Financial Statement Preparation

Requirements

- Hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role

- Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems

- Proficiency in performing Accounting Functions

- Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Experience in Auditing processes and procedures

- Familiarity with Billing Functions

- Capable of performing Month End Close procedures

- Understanding of General Ledger management

- Experience in Financial Statement Preparation
