Our client is looking for a Senior AEM Expert to lead internal teams through AEM implementation and adoption. They will be responsible for creating the roadmap for AEM usability, governance with various internal group including legal, conformity assessments, communication, and science operations. This role requires a strong candidate that is comfortable with representing the company to various clients as well as a deep understanding of digital asset management best practices, metadata standards, and proficiency in AEM administration. This role reports to the Senior Global Manager of Marketing Enablement.

Details:

+ Contract to hire: 6 months to hire.

+ Fully Remote

+ Pay: W2 $50/hr.- 60/hr.

+ Full Time

Responsibilities:

+ Create a roadmap for AEM usability and adoption, including best practices.

+ Develop solutions for AEM to support various groups, including Legal, Conformity Assessments, Communications, and Science Operations.

+ Serve as the confident leader in discussions with leadership, representing AEM.

+ Function as an individual contributor, leading the DAM council and center of excellence.

+ Provide process and strategy for usability across teams, including archiving timelines and governance.

+ Firsthand librarian experience required; must be able to manage AEM as the sole owner.

+ Combine strategic oversight with hands-on execution.

+ Develop processes and subprocesses for deployment and automation, transitioning from manual to automated workflows.

+ Create processes and action plans for archiving timelines, maintenance, updates, etc.

+ Confident to act as the liaison for all AEM globally.

+ Develop and maintain a comprehensive digital asset management strategy, including taxonomy development, metadata schema creation, and asset lifecycle management.

+ Organize digital assets within AEM according to established taxonomy and metadata standards, ensuring assets are easily searchable and accessible to authorized users.

+ Collaborate cross functionally with global stakeholders and regulations to understand asset usage requirements and develop workflows to support asset creation, ingestion, approval, and distribution processes.

+ Train internal users on best practices for asset management within AEM, including proper metadata tagging, version control, and asset reuse.

+ Monitor asset usage metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of asset management strategies and identify opportunities for optimization.

+ Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies related to digital asset management, AEM, and related tools, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

+ Serve as a subject matter expert on digital asset management best practices, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders as needed.

+ Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of creative and marketing channels. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Must have Marketo and Workfront

+ 4+ years of experience in digital asset management, preferably in a corporate or agency environment.

+ Proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) administration, including user management, workflow configuration, and asset metadata management.

+ Strong understanding of metadata standards and best practices for digital asset organization and retrieval.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

+ Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and consistency in metadata tagging and asset management.

+ Familiarity with digital rights management principles and copyright laws related to digital assets.

+ Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
