The Large Power Systems Division (LPSD) Mapleton team has a Human Resources Generalist role open to support the talent lifecycle for our dynamic business. This position will strategically consult and provide leadership to the Mapleton Cast Metals Organization (CMO) business partners on human resource initiatives and employment-related topics.

What You Will Do:

+ Manage all production job bids and award based on the bargained and defined process.

+ Act as a trusted coach providing guidance to employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, compensation, and benefits, etc.

+ Conduct and provide guidance associated with internal investigations and grievances.

+ Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and develop a story to provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.

What You Have:

+ 6-8 years of progressing human resource assignments and/or a collegiate degree in human resources and/or business

+ Excellent project management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is required

+ Ability to maintain confidentiality, excellent interpersonal skills, and personal accountability are required

+ Ability to effectively influence others at all levels in an organization is required

+ Knowledge of the organization’s vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.

+ Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

+ Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

+ Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.

+ Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.

+ Knowledge of the rights and obligations in the employee relations; ability to adhere to legal requirements when handling employee negotiations.

+ Knowledge of human resource function; ability to uphold the organization’s and industry’s standards, procedures and policies regarding human resources management.

Top Candidates will also have:

+ Experience with analysis and reporting

+ Experience presenting complex themes to audiences at various levels within an organization

+ Outstanding judgment and creative problem-solving skills
