+ The Social Media and Communications Assistant implements and executes the divisions social media strategy.
+ The Assistant executes social campaigns and interacts with Student Affairs stakeholders daily.
+ This role forms part of the Division Office Team.
+ This person will support the vision of the divisions social media strategy through the timely delivery of content, promotions, social listening, member engagement, and administrative functions.
+ This role also has the unique opportunity to positively impact the lives of thousands of students through direct interaction with CLC students across a broad spectrum of social media and marketing touch-points, including the student newsletter.
+ Serve as the first point of contact in the Division of Student Affairs office.
+ Mild clerical work for the Division office.
Required Qualification(s)-Must be a CLC student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits hours for the fall semester.
-Attach an availability schedule with application.
-Must maintain a “C average” (2.0 GPA ) in college credit courses.
-Dedicated hard worker with excellent communications skills, great time management skills and strong written/verbal communication skills.
-Passion for social media and understanding of social KPI’s.
-Ability to be creative and detail-oriented while meeting deadlines.
-Maintain confidentiality as needed.
Desired Qualification(s) Posting Date Special Instructions Summary Pay Rate $14.00 Location Grayslake Total Hours per week 20 Work ScheduleMonday – Friday and between the hours of 8:00am – 4:30pm. Suggested hours 10:00am-2:00pm. Hours may vary dependent on programs, initiatives, and need.
