About the Role

The Sr. Analyst - Procurement is responsible for requisitioning and purchase of materials and equipment for Windstream. Supports the preparation and review of purchase orders, adherence to negotiated contracts and maintains accuracy of the cost of the items that Windstream deploys in its network. This position requires the use of independent judgment, initiative, and the ability to analyze data to make intelligent buying decisions on the company’s behalf.

What You’ll Do :

+ Review of data from multiple sources to purchase material for the purpose of stocking multiple warehouses.

+ Processes requests from internal customers and key vendor partners into purchase orders for stocking purposes.

+ Works with Internal customers and vendors regarding ordering requirements such as minimum quantities and cost variance in effort to errors and make purchases flow smoothly.

+ Build a rapport with vendors and internal customers to ensure that Inventory Management is stocking the material needed to process and provide materials when needed.

+ Acts as conduit between vendors and Database to maintain the accuracy of the items that Windstream purchases regularly.

+ Review contracts, documents and email files as needed to ensure that purchase orders and invoices are accurate. Maintains records (electronic) for the purpose of audits and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

+ Receives and responds to internal customer inquiries and requests on availability, lead times, and other information as needed to provide them with current data for scheduling current work in the field as well as large projects that require significantly more product than history dictates.

+ Requires self-motivation and initiative to achieve and exceed individual and departmental performance goals and objectives.

+ Strong Analytical Skills

+ Computer Skills – To perform this job successfully, an individual must demonstrate advanced Excel skills; essential technical competencies in the use of computers and standard business applications; Microsoft products and office equipment; and ability to quickly master applicable software programs.

+ Knowledge of purchasing methods and procedures and methods of analyzing supplies and materials.

+ Detail oriented and organized in work.

+ Ability to meet assigned deadlines.

+ Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all business owners/employees to maximize efficiency and problem solving.

+ College degree and 3-5 years professional level experience with 1+ years supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or 7+ years professional level related experience with 1+ years supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.

The starting compensation range for this job is $63,500 to $81,800.
