We are seeking a candidate with strong product management experience in the modern application architectures, virtual networking/software defined networking and security to drive innovative and highly scalable products. In this role you will be responsible for defining and driving the product vision, strategy and roadmap for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure virtual networking and network security products. As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications, recommend and justify product strategy and specifications for executive approval. You will lead and coordinate efforts between cross-functional teams to develop best-in-class capabilities on OCI. You will be expected to assess appropriate trade-offs to optimize customer experience, time-to-market, and to clearly communicate goals, and desired outcomes to internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong Product Management background, an ability to work with customers, sales, engineering and cross-functional teams, have experience launching multiple customer-facing products and features preferably in the cloud networking domain. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done. Maturity, strong business judgment, a customer-centric mindset, negotiation skills, ability to influence and analytical talent are essential to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

+ Deeply understand customer needs, and industry innovation to drive the product vision and strategy for virtual networking and network security services, maximizing business and customer impact

+ Exhibit robust problem-solving and decision-making skills, tackling both technical and strategic challenges in innovative ways, and leveraging both data and intuition to make strategic choices in the face of ambiguity and complexity

+ Partner closely with senior management and engineering teams to define and align with stakeholders on vision, strategy, and roadmaps

+ Develop product roadmaps in partnership with relevant product and engineering teams that execute on product vision and strategy

+ Present solutions to customers and partners at multiple levels, from technical audience to CxO.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ 5+ years of relevant hands-on product management experience with cloud or enterprise software

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills and executive presence

+ Ability to define and shape the business and product strategy for multiple large product areas

+ Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously

+ Proven track record of successfully shipping new products in an agile environment

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

+ MBA or master’s degree in a technical field

+ Domain knowledge of public cloud infrastructure technologies and/or distributed systems for networking and network security services.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $87,600 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
