Job Description

The Service Technician position offers a unique opportunity to provide technical support for our products, respond to sales agent and customer technical information requests, and deliver service sales support. The role involves determining warranty and corrective actions, performing design reviews for new equipment and equipment changes, and providing local technical sales/business support. Responsibilities also include coordinating installation reviews and equipment start-up, creating training documentation, and maintaining call logs for customer support. Additionally, the Service Technician will create or revise technical manuals, service bulletins, and other engineering documents. This role may require travel (less than 20%), both domestic and international.

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully onsite position and will be onsite at a customer site while traveling.

Work Environment

The work environment is a small local facility in Cherry Valley with approximately 40 employees. The role requires a balance between office-based tasks, such as providing support over phone and email, and fieldwork, including equipment installation walkthroughs and on-site training. The ideal candidate is customer-facing with strong technical skills, and is comfortable with approximately 20% fieldwork.
