McDonald’s is on an exciting journey to transform our enterprise data, analytics, and AI function and turn our data into a winning advantage for the system. We are seeking a Technology Core team member to play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our technology stakeholders and the data, analytics, and AI teams. You will serve as a liaison, representing the voice of the technology during the development of the process and governance framework that will bring the new function to life. This individual will leverage their expertise in IT processes as well as their excellent communication skills to inform the design of key capabilities like demand intake and funding through the lens of the global technology. They will ensure alignment of future state processes to up and downstream teams across tech ecosystem.

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Provides technical expertise and act as the voice of technology within the process and governance workstream to ensure the needs of the technology function are being recognized throughout each step of the process

+ Collaborate with stakeholders across global technology to understand needs and opportunities to implement new capabilities and ways of working

+ Collaborate with process and governance team to design the future state operating framework for the technology hub (e.g. demand intake, portfolio management, funding, etc.)

+ Collaborate with Change Management workstream to identify impacts from technology process changes and craft change strategy for technology stakeholders

+ Support market enablement planning activities and engagement with market stakeholders to understand current processes and plans to implement new DAA capabilities

+ Utilize experience with and understanding of McD technology processes, systems, and practices to advise and shape the future enterprise DAA Technology hub

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree IT, Computer Science, Business or related discipline required; Master’s preferred

+ 5+ years experience in data, analytics, business intelligence, data management, or related fields.

+ 2+ years in a management role with demonstrated experience leading technical teams to deliver data, analytics, and AI capabilities

+ General understanding of technical concepts like information architecture, data engineering, and development methodologies.

+ Experience working in cross-functional, global teams and managing complex projects or programs.

+ Strong understanding of business processes, operations, and strategic planning for Data and AI functions.

+ Experience designing or supporting governance frameworks for Data and AI functions.
