Position Summary

The Med D Coordination of Benefits (COB) Advisor requires an ambitious, motivated, and eager individual looking to work for an industry-leading company. This position is a part of our Financial Operations Member Experience department, a dynamic and skilled group which manages all member-facing financial activities for CVS Health’s Caremark business. The Advisor will be expected to become a subject matter expert in COB, Nx Transactions, Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP), and other related functions and will lead a variety of special projects aimed at improving the interaction between Finance and our members and will play an instrumental role in the development and implementation of innovative solutions across all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

-Provide support across Med D Finance functions; challenging assumptions and existing standards of business to improve overall quality and efficiency of operations

-Drive the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives to modernize business practices

-Review and document current business practices, identify areas of opportunity, and partner with leadership to develop and implement improvement plans

-Serve as a technical steward for the team, partnering with finance enablement teams to leverage automation to improve business outcomes

-Organize cross-functional teams to support larger organizational efforts

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week on-site in our Northbrook, IL, Scottsdale, AZ, Irving, TX, Hartford, CT, or Woonsocket, RI office. Other CVS Health locations may be considered.

Required Qualifications

-5 or more years of experience in financial operations, service operations, process improvement, or revenue cycle

-Direct Medicare Part D experience

Preferred Qualifications

-3 or more years of experience working with project and process improvement initiatives across various financial operations functions

-Experience with CVS Caremark PBM business operations and practices

-Experience in healthcare industry, including health insurance, PBM or pharmacy services

-Experience with SAP, RxClaim, and other CVS Caremark specific applications

Education

-Bachelor’s degree required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 – $139,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
