We have a current need for a Contract Design Engineer based in Warrenville, Illinois .

Responsibilities:

+ Works with Designers and Drafters to complete design packages

+ Supports the preparation of simple designs or small portions of larger projects, including calculations and drawings

+ Leads the development of their discipline’s design on simple projects, and supports complex projects, including simple technical analyses

+ Conducts communications in a professional and clear manner; communications are timely and in an appropriate format for the topic.

+ Self-checks work assignments prior to submitting for review, completes work with minimal errors. Participates in peer reviews and QC reviews.

+ Leads the development of their discipline’s design on simple projects, and supports complex projects, including simple technical analyses

+ Applies technical knowledge to designs and ensures projects meet specifications

Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited university

+ Knowledge of Computer Aided Design or GIS Design is a plus

+ Strong work ethic with desire to work in a production environment
