Job Description

Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for aDatacapDeveloper to support the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) on addressing critical challenges in our application infrastructure by implementing and integrating new document management technology IBMDatacapto support FileNet 5.5.12 andfacilitatingthe transition to a cloud-based environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IBMDatacap, FileNet, and be adept with Agile and DevOps methodologies. This position will be a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement IBMDatacapsolutions that integrate seamlessly with FileNet 5.5.12.

+ Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions usingDatacap.

+ Develop and maintainDatacapapplications, configurations, and workflows to support document capture, processing, and management.

+ Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance ofDatacapsolutions to ensure reliability, accuracy, and performance.

+ Engage in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.

+ Maintain DevOps practices and tools to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring ofDatacapapplications.

+ Provide technical support and troubleshooting forDatacap-related issues, collaborating with IT teams and vendors as needed.

+ Support change management activities tofacilitatethe adoption ofDatacapand ensure a smooth transition for end-users.

+ Stayup-to-datewith industry trends and best practices in document capture and management technologies.

+ Provide support for FileNet Capture during transition

+ User Support and Training: Provide support to end-users, including troubleshooting issues, answering queries, and conducting training sessions to improve userproficiency.

+ Configuration Management: Manage and document all configurations and changes to the FileNet Capture system to ensure consistency and compliance with organizational policies.

+ Incident Management: Quickly respond to and resolve incidents, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuity of business operations.

+ System Integration: Ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems and applications, troubleshooting and resolving any integration issues.

+ Data Management: Oversee the capture, storage, and retrieval of data, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’swith 8+ years (orcommensurateexperience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Required Skills and Experience

+ 5-8 years ofprofessionalexperience as aDatacapDeveloper, with a strong background in FileNetContent Manager, FileNet Capture,and document management systems.

+ Extensive experience designing and implementingDatacapsolutions, including configurations, workflows, and integrations.

+ Proficiencyin.NET languages (C# or VB.NET), VBScript, and JavaScript

+ Experience withOracleWeblogic12c/Database 19cand Microsoft SQL Server

+ Familiarity Management and Capture Technologiesincluding OCR, ICR,Barcode Recognition, and Document Classification and Extraction

+ Proficiencyin Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.

+ Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.

+ Strong understanding of quality assurance frameworks and experience conducting testing and validation ofDatacapsolutions.

Preferred Skills and Experience

+ Certification in IBMDatacapor related technologies.

+ Experience with cloud migration projects, particularly to Azure.

+ Familiarity withadditionaldocument management systems and technologies such as FileNet Content Manager 5.5+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $120,000.00 – USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
