Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for an experienced PMP certified Project Manager with over 8 years of experience to lead our Pension Plan Document Management (PPDM) Proof of Concept (PoC) and modernization project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with MS Dynamics, MS SharePoint, document management, Azure DevOps, Agile methodologies, and Azure Cloud. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing project deliverables, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

Manages the direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives.

+ Lead the PPDM PoC and modernization project, ensuring all project goals and objectives are met.

+ Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.

+ Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking, analysis and reporting.

+ Validate and adjust the technology stack direction (Blueprint) to assist with technology planning.

+ Oversee the estimation of timelines and total cost of ownership for delivering a modernized document management system.

+ Collaborate with BISD Product Manager and OBA Product Owner to form an Integrated Product Team (IPT) and drive project activities.

+ Engage with OIT Enterprise Architecture Division (EAD) and BISD’s Senior Technologist to connect with industry experts and identify relevant technology updates.

+ Coordinate and participate in discussions with Microsoft on product updates and capabilities related to document management and cloud services.

+ Develop and manage project management documents and artifacts in alignment with organizational guidelines and standards.

+ Utilize Agile and DevOps development lifecycle approaches to validate technology and develop prototypes.

+ Ensure the successful configuration and testing of PoC use cases to assess feasibility and identify additional technology needs.

+ Co-author the Blueprint of the proven technology stack, total cost of ownership, and estimated timeline for modernization implementation.

+ Maintain excellent business relations and customer satisfaction through quality service delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

+ 8+ years of experience in project management with a focus on IT and document management systems.

+ PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.

+ Extensive experience with MS Dynamics, MS SharePoint, Azure DevOps, Agile methodologies, D365 platform, and Azure Cloud.

+ Strong background in managing large-scale projects involving document management and cloud technologies.

+ Proficiency in using MS Project for project planning and management.

+ Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.

+ Experience in developing and managing project management documents and artifacts as per organizational guidelines.

+ Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

+ Experience with government agencies or similar organizations.

+ Familiarity with OCR scanning capabilities, Artificial Intelligence, and Process Robotics in the context of document management.

+ Knowledge of systems like FileNet.

+ Ability to engage with industry experts and stay updated with market trends and technology advancements.

+ Strong analytical skills to assess data management challenges and propose effective solutions.

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $130,000.00 – USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
